Course Structure : Semester System
Industrial Training : A minimum duration of two weeks of industrial training included each semester break except after Ist semester (i.e. there will be industrial training during summer vacation after 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th semesters. Internal assessment out of 50 marks will be added in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th semesters respectively. Total marks allotted to industrial training will be 200.

- Understanding of basic principles of electrical and electronics engineering
- Understanding of electrical machines and equipment
- Understanding of basic principles of digital electronics; communication engineering and systems; audio video systems and industrial electronics
- Knowledge of different electronic devices, components, materials and instruments used in manufacturing and testing of electronic products
- Skills in fabrication and testing of different types of electronic circuits and devices by making use of testing and measuring instruments
- Skills in fabrication of PCBs and designing the layout of various instruments, chassis and equipment for wiring/circuit development
